What we do

Almag Aluminum Inc. is a manufacturer of custom aluminum extrusions, including fabrication and finishing services, producing parts for a wide array of industries, throughout the world.

Our History

In 1953, Edward Peacock founded Almag Aluminum and Magnesium Ltd. manufacturing decorative door grilles. Almag's first extrusion press started production in 1959.

Mr. Peacock envisioned a prosperous business with an ambition to build good products, good people and repeat business. Today, under the leadership of his son, Bob, our passion for quality and service remains strong.

Still family owned, Almag began in a 1300 square foot building on Munster Avenue in Etobicoke, and has been at it's current location in Brampton since 1973. The plant in Brampton now encompasses three buildings with a total size of 175,000 square feet.

The People

When we say we have the best people, we mean it. Customers tour the plant and comment on the positive environment throughout. We all work as a team and it shows.

Our Sales staff is quick to respond to enquiries. Simple quotes will be turned around within 24 hours. Expect a speedy response to phone calls and e-mails.

Adapting to your unique needs is what we do. Whether you have a big show coming up and you must have material or you need a part that others have refused to do, we have the experience and drive to get results.

Most of the production process is automated, but human input and judgment are still required at the press - judgment calls that can only be made through experience and know-how.
