Extrusion Tolernaces

Standard tolerances exist and are used as guidelines. Your application may require tolerances less than standard and we are well equipped to handle special requests - much of what we do is produced at less than standard tolerances. There are limiting factors depending on the design and alloy choice, so please let us know if you have special requirements. 		( Optical Scanner ) Profile dimensions are monitored throughout the extrusion process. Dimensional, optical scans show the comparison of the extrusion dimensions versus the Autocad drawing. Reports are generated immediately on-screen, very clearly showing both in and out of spec dimensions based on approved drawing tolerances. Immediate reporting allows the production staff to confirm material conforms to drawing requirements. If out of spec, the production run can be stopped immediately, reducing the waste of resources at the press.
